Zinc
die castings are notorious for porosity and the variety of
shapes which call for special buffing considerations.
Zinc
should be cut buffed with Tripoli compounds and bias airway
or pleated buffing wheels designed with special dip and mill
treated products developed by JacksonLea.
A
good coloring operation following up cut buffing of zinc helps
present the work to the plating operation in the best possible
form.
